1. Andersen Window Details

  • Andersen windows are wood windows with a vinyl exterior. Andersen uses its own patented vinyl clad to cover the exterior wood.
    • The vinyl clad comes in four different colors.
  • The inside of the window is clear pine. It is available in a wood-painted finish, or in a wood finish you can paint or stain yourself.

2. Andersen Window Options

  • Andersen windows come in casement, double hung, sliding, or awning styles, as well as French doors and French sliding doors.
  • The Andersen window is generally a new construction product with a nail fin for new applications, remodeling, and adding on.
    • Andersen does offer a retrofit style window called the Woodright Double Hung that is a slip-in application.
  • Andersen offers a new invisible screen called a TruScene Screen with an aluminum or wood finish on the inside. This new feature enhances your outside view and costs fifty to a hundred dollars extra.
