    • Different edge options for countertops include: square edge, bull-nosed, beveled edge, rounded edge, non-drip edge and custom edging.
  1. Backsplash Options
    • After the homeowner selects their countertop, they have the choice of a variety of backsplash materials and installation options.
    • Popular backsplash options include continuing the countertop material up the wall, tile and paint. The backsplash may cover the entire wall between the countertop and the cabinets or only extend up four inches.
  1. Selecting Countertops
    • When selecting countertops, it is helpful to look at the samples in your home where you can compare them to your existing flooring and cabinetry.
    • After the countertop is selected, the turnaround time is anywhere from one day to two weeks. This time frame includes ordering the material, removing the existing countertop, installing a plywood sub-top, templating, fabricating and then installing the new countertop.
